My journey into selling my own artworks has been a longtime coming. I have always loved art and dreamt of being artist for as long as I remember (in fact, the only part I didn't like about being an artist was the 'starving' part - luckily so far this hasn't been true!), but it wasn't until 2019 that I started checking into how I could show my artwork in galleries and secured my first exhibition in Melbourne at the Koorie Heritage Trust.

 

My favourite mediums are watercolour, lino prints and mixed media artworks so it took me quite some time to develop my own style that I wanted to be known for. In doing this, I was able to create an art style that represented both my culture and who I am and what I love as an artist, photographer and designer.

My first solo exhibition 'Land Currents' was at the Koorie Heritage Trust (Federation Square, Melbourne) in 2019 and my second exhibition 'Reflections' was held (and interrupted many times) in 2020. Along with creating art myself, I also love being able to teach others about art and design. I offer a range of art workshops in Townsville and a few special wine and watercolour events throughout the year at local wineries - perfect for hen's parties!
