Harlen and Mara - Rainforest Romance

Last year, in a location that looks like a fairy tale, Harlen and Mara got married at our first ‘Rainforest Romance’ elopement and micro-wedding event.

Located just outside of Babinda, 40 minutes from Cairns, the couple said ‘I do’ in beautiful gardens surrounded by their closest family and friends.

It was so obvious how in love this couple is with their beautiful ceremony and vows.

After their short ceremony the couple celebrated with some group photos, before enjoying the cutting of their cake. After this we headed down to the creek for some stunning photographs and a laugh, wrapping up their ‘official’ part of the day.

Afterwards Harlen and Mara were kind enough to let us know their thoughts on our elopement and micro-wedding experience, they said:

‘Where do we start... The whole team made our entire wedding experience more than we could have ever imagined.

Everything was organised and sorted for us from our chosen music, our personal vows, our flowers to match, down to the cute little sunnies to break some of the nerves and have some fun.

The location was stunning! We were surrounded by mother nature and the calming sounds of flowing water nearby.

As the bride, I was extremely nervous, and was supported by the entire team, especially by Maddi’s mum who played our assistant, we really appreciated her support throughout our whole experience, she was amazing!!! Especially making me feel so at ease and comfortable during the getting ready part.

Maddi's photos speak for themselves, we can't even believe it's us in the photo because of how amazing she made us look! We looked at our photos late last night and Maddi is so amazingggg!!! She has a serious skill to capture the photos she did! Literally every photo Maddi took was with purpose and we can't believe how wonderful she made us look - we can't thank her enough!

We highly recommend the experience to any couple that was wanting something very intimate, and the hassle of organising a wedding sorted by a team of beautifully natured people.
